Dude! That shirt is hot. I totally remember that book. In fact, I think I still have it stored away in one of my childhood book bins. If threadless makes it, I'm so buying it!

maybe if the person were a little more realistic I like it, have them walking away at an angle so the footprints actually look like they belong to him.

That is SO cute, and if the angel was smaller and in proportion to the kid, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I love snow. 3 for now, 5+$ if you redo it.

i'd love it if the red guy had devil horns and a tail. it'd add some lateral thought

Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions!

lanicita.. You have a good point. I played around with the size and with the suggestions from d3d and I think I have a much better image now but when I was reading the rules it seems like they don't really approve re-submissions of designs...though I swear I've seen some re-works recently...I dunno...Maybe I'll resubmit after this one runs its course...unless it gets printed as is...

d3d...if I resubmit with your idea I'll owe you big time if it gets printed...make sure you keep an eye out and contact me if that happens k?

Hey Blackfork! Thanks for the kind words... it's funny but I kind of remember that book but it really wasn't on my mind when I made the image...who knows maybe it was in the back of my mind but I was just trying to think of a design that would make good use of a White shirt and snow came to mind...

anyway...I'l have to look up the book to jog my memory. I love books from my childhood... Lamont the lonely Monster, Were the Wild Things Are etc. I'm glad that you enjoyed it! thanks for your vote!

Request: I was wondering if some of you kind voters would mind letting me know what points you're giving so I can gauge how well the design's doin'

Thanks, ever so much, in advance!

I like the idea, but it doesn't look right for his footprints to be coming from the arm area.

I would buy this on a long-sleeved top that I could wear in winter, but not on a t-shirt, because I wouldn't wear it in the summer.

I like the idea quite a bit, and the illustration is very nice... but it looks a tad bit like the angel has a wang. Since I noticed that, it's impossible for me to not notice it.

I would like it more if the red figure and the footprints were not there at all...but I guess I like more abstract images. The snow angel is beautifully done.

Just to be clear...The design is original and is not infuenced or "Taken" from from any other source. The book, I beleive, people are mentioning is actually called "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats. You can do a Google search for images and decide for yourself if the images are similar.

I will admit that I did have several of this author's books when I was a child, as his books were very big in the 70's, and I loved them. As well, I am sincerely flattered that my image would evoke memories of this book because I think that the art from the book is quite beautiful (much better than mine). If you don't like the design, you're entitled to your opinion and I thank you for your consideration but please don't insinuate that my design is not my own.
