Oh man, my highest score EVER!
silverqe nailed it! Congrats! please, email you info (name, address) to rodrigobhz at gmail dot com and if one this design gets printed... :) THANK YOU LOVELY PEOPLE! ----- When I told Nestor that I wouldn't do a "Guess the score" because I don't have a good prize to give to the winner he said: soloyo on Mar 14 '10 at 12:22pm No good prize? Your Tee is a Sure print, and a must buy a free tee if it prints would make a kick ass prize! So, let's do it! Guess the score and win a free "The Last Showdown" shirt if it prints! :) ![]() If anyone guess the score, the closest guess without overcome wins, ok? ps: Thanks everybody for the AMAZING response. ![]() ------ So, my best friend gave me an idea for the 'It's hard without shoes' competition: Why don't you draw a little fakir wearing a shoe and his father mad with him saying "No! You can't wear a shoe! You have to firewalk and climb up the bed of nails barefoot!" ? So I did a quick version and I really want to know what you guys think about it? Is the message clear? Any inputs?
Have you guys seen this?
Amazing! ♥Some love at emptees ♥ The multi talented and fabulous walmazan joined me to bring you an exciting and revolutionary new trend! "There can be only one" ![]() ![]() The concept Collaborations are already part of the Threadless history. There are several types of collaborations but we've never seen - or at least I don't remember - two designers battling each other in the same shirt. That's right, a fighting style in the same shirt! The idea is quite simple: Two - or more - designers choose a theme and each one draws its own version of the theme. So, they put all together and the final result are two styles, two different drawings, two designers in a single t-shirt. Imagine Alvarejo and alexmdc drawing an epic battle between futuristic robots and giant squid? Or Buko and Somni? Or Fatheed and Moss, ISABOA and Badbasilik, Santo76 and Aphte in the same shirt? Awesome, right? And this can be an amazing new trend! The possibilities are endless! So, that's what we did: First, we chose the theme: Threadless's Clichès. We selected some of the biggest cliches in Threadless history and combined the characters in an epic battle, where "There can be only one". King Kong vs. King Kong, Pirates vs Pirates, FWF, Sharks and Unicorns fighting for a spot on the t-shirt! Wencez did an awesome composition and he managed to make the whole thing look amazing with one single color. I hope you guys like it and I do hope this idea goes on cuz we want to see all the Threadless designers joining forces and merging their styles into a single design/shirt. Thanks everyone who helped us with this project!
It's up! :)
![]() ---- Old Post ---- Oh man, I found this on Google: ![]() So I think it's better change the idea - originally had Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. - and now I'm using BOB from "Monsters vs. Aliens". I used the famous scene from the movie "Lady and the Tramp" to illustrate the birth of love between the two characters and if you pay close attention, the design has a subtle heartshape. I need to finish the dinner table and then I think it's ready to go. Any suggestions? ![]() ![]() --- Old idea ![]()
So, this is - a ROUGH composition - my idea for a belt print:
![]() It's one single color and works on several clors - but I think silver is the best. What do you think? Done before? ---- I have an idea for a design that covers the entire shirt. How big should be the file? It's an image, that' why I want to know the correct dimensions to do it in Photoshop :) Thanks for the help! |
