What are STPs?
If you haven't yet, head on over to the Threadless StreetTeam page and have a read. Or, if you are lazy, it's below. Basically, STPs = Threadless store credit. 1 STP = $1.50 in store credit. 2 STPs = $3.00 in store credit. If you have a Threadless account, you have a unique STP link that's just for you! More about that later.

How do I get/earn STPs?
To get 1 STP ($1.50 in store credit), submit a Threadless photo to the gallery! If you take a super awesome photo, Threadless might use it on the product page and you get 10 STPs ($15.00 in store credit)! To get 2 STPs ($3.00 in store credit), have someone use your STP link when they're buying from Threadless! They would probably follow the step by step guide below. That's why on the Threadless blog forum, you see people wanting to trade STP links! He/she uses your STP link, and you use his/her STP link. Easy, easy. Or, you can hassle all your family and friends to use your link when they're buying from Threadless. Also, another way you can earn STPs is by Threadspotting! If you spot a Threadless tee in a magazine, a movie, a video, anywhere, send it in to the email that's posted over there and if Threadless highlights your sighting, you get some rad STPs!

How do I check how many STPs I have? Where are my STPs located?
Head on over to your account (beside the Logout button) and it should be on the right hand side!

How do I give someone STPs?
Have you ever bought anything from Threadless before? Yes? Okay...but did you STP someone? That's right - you can STP people! By using somebody's STP link, you're giving him/her 2 StreetTeam points ($3.00)! Here's a step by step guide on how to give STPs.

Step 1 - Find the username of the person you want to STP and copy his/her STP link.

Step 2 - Shop around and add items to your cart.

Step 3 - When you're ready to checkout, close all your browser windows.

Step 4 - Open a new web browser window.

Step 5 - Paste the person's STP link and press Enter!

Step 6 - OPTIONAL: If you're really wondering if it worked, copy and paste this into the web address link and press Enter: javascript:alert(document.cookie); A window will pop up and if you scan it, there should be some stuff about StreetTeam and the person's username. If you see it, yay! Thanks, ladykat!

Step 7 - Checkout! That's it! Once you've placed your order, the person should get an email saying he/she got STPs!

Why should I give STPs?
Why should you STP someone? Well, you're checking out anyways, why not spread the joy? Who knows, the person who you sent STPs to could return the favor! Yay!

What do I do with STPs? How do I use them? Why should I care about them?
If you have enough StreetTeam points to pay for an order, Threadless will let you know! STPs = Threadless store credit = covers the cost of your order = you don't have to pay a penny! Cha-ching!

Do I have to use all my STPs at once?
From the Threadless Service & Help on How do StreetTeam points work?: You can apply StreetTeam points during the third step of the checkout process along with billing information. Under "Billing Information", there's a section stating the amount of StreetTeam points you have. Each StreetTeam point is worth $1.50. In the field given, select the number of points to apply to the order and click 'Apply'. The amount of the StreetTeam points will be deducted from the order total. If you have more StreetTeam points than the order total, just click 'Apply'. The right amount of StreetTeam points will be credited to your order to cover the total. Any unused points will remain in your account to be used in the future!

Can I use my own STP link/STP myself?
No, you can't.

Can I use my STPs to buy Threadless gift certificates?
Yes, you sure can!

Can I use my STPs over at the TypeTees, Select Series or Threadless Kids! site?
Yes!

Can I use my STPs over at Naked & Angry, I Park Like An Idiot, or Twitter Tees by Threadless?
Nope.

Who should I STP?
Check out the list of STP virgins and pick one of them to STP! If you're a STP virgin, comment on that blog and you'll be added to the list! Or, if you're checking out in the next few minutes and want to do something fun, have a STP contest, pick a winner and use the winner's STP link.

I got an email saying I got STPs! Who did it?
At the moment, there is no way of knowing who used your STP link unless the person tells you he/she is going to use your STP link. Ask around. You can post a blog on the blog forum asking the person to reveal him/herself.

Can I transfer my STPs to another Threadless account?
At the moment, no.

Do my STPs expire?
There's no expiry date for STPs. They'll sit in your account until you use them.

When checking out, can I use STPs along with a gift certificate/store credit and a coupon code?
Yes!

What's the difference between http://www.threadless.com/?streetteam=alexmdc and http://threadless.com/?from=alexmdc?
No worries, both of them are StreetTeam links! Remember, if you're ever curious, do Step 6 before you checkout and scan the window for the person's username.

The username of the person I want to STP has a space! What's his/her STP link?
If so, it's usually a plus sign for the space. For example, courtney pie would be: http://www.threadless.com/?streetteam=courtney+pie and Steve The Great would be: http://www.threadless.com/?streetteam=Steve+The+Great

The username of the person I want to STP has a dash! What's his/her STP link?
It would stay the same. For example, taz-pie would be: http://www.threadless.com/?streetteam=taz-pie

The username of the person I want to STP has a period! What's his/her STP link?
It would stay the same. For example, charity.ryan would be: http://www.threadless.com/?streetteam=charity.ryan

The username of the person I want to STP has an underscore! What's his/her STP link?
It would stay the same. For example, Leroy_Hornblower would be: http://www.threadless.com/?streetteam=Leroy_Hornblower

The username of the person I want to STP has all these weird symbols! What's his/her STP link?
Ask the person to provide you with his/her STP link.

I'm buying 19 tees and using alexmdc's STP link. Does he get 19 tees x $1.50 = $28.50 worth of STPs?
No. StreetTeam points are awarded on a per order basis, not per tee. He would still get $3.00 worth of STPs regardless of how big your order is.

I placed an order using alexmdc's STP link and now I want to place another order! Do I still have to do the step by step stuff?
Yes. Once you've placed an order, that's a sale. It's done. So, if you want to place another order, find someone you want to STP and do the step by step stuff all over again. If you want, you can keep giving STPs to alexmdc. Ha.

My STPs disappeared! Wha?
If the person who used your STP link cancels his/her Threadless order, your STPs probably disappeared. If you have any problems, concerns or issues with your STPs, contact the Threadless team! They know more about STPs than I do.

I used my STPs to cover an order and after placing it, I realized that I ordered a tee in the wrong size! If I cancel my order, what happens to my STPs? Your STPs will be returned to you in the form of a coupon code by Threadless. So, if you had $24 worth of STPs, you would get a coupon code worth $24. If you have any problems, concerns or issues with your STPs, contact the Threadless team! They know more about STPs than I do.

Three years ago, I stumbled across Threadless and decided to make an account. Woo! Anyways, I think I covered everything in my Bestee blog, so here's to another three years! I love you, Threadless! Donuts for everyone.

Also, I would like to point out that Bart Van de Vel aka harpo25 and I joined on the same day three years ago. I'm celebrating this anniversary with him. We miss you, Bart.

This is going to be my past-present-future STP thank you blog. If you've ever given me STPs, thank you. If you gave me STPs just now, thank you (and please, please reveal yourself). If you're planning on giving me STPs in the future, thank you.

Thanks for the STPs. You rock! Eggs for everyone!

...I would've probably chosen one of the following 44 unprinted designers. Probably.

Wow, this is rather crazy! I still can't believe it - a Bestee?! To be selected as 2009's Blogger of the Year by Threadless...I'm blown away and still in shock. Thank you so, so much to the staff at Threadless. Holy smokes, this is a very humbling award for me to accept.

I don't know how Threadless chooses the Bestee winners. I mean, I know they pick nominees and cast ballots and all that stuff, but it must be quite difficult. To sit down and say, "Well, who do you think is Blogger of the Year?" How do you even begin to answer that? To be nominated/considered for this award is thrilling (heck, if I was walking past the door and I heard my name, I would probably faint or die from joy), but to win it?! I. Am. Floored.

I'm super honored to follow in the footsteps of Montro and lunchboxbrain. I won't list names because it'll take a while, but there are a lot of people on here who I admire and who contribute to the Threadless blog forum almost every single day. You're the ones with the hilarious and memorable blogs/comments that make us come back for more. I know I'm not the typical Threadless blogger, so, without you guys, the blog forum would be pretty different. Thank you to all of you. You guys rock. You guys are awesome.

As Blogger of the Year, one of my prizes is/was to choose an unprinted designer to be printed. Gosh, there are a lot of unprinted designers on Threadless - I went through many profiles and designs. I even made a list on Notepad - naming a designer and two or three of his/her designs that I really liked. Anyways, after a few hours, with a crazy number of tabs open on my Firefox, I took a deep breath and decided on Ryder Revolution. I love his unique and creative designs and as for a specific design, I went with "A Flying Dog in Outer Space." There was something about that design - I kept going back to it and staring at it, haha. I sent the email off, Threadless approved and Ryder probably got a Threadless email a few hours/days later. Yay! It's great to see your name in lavender, Ryder! Congrats! Also, I thought that all the Bestee winners would be picking a design to be printed! When I found out it was only with this award, whoa, it left me a little speechless. Thanks for the honor, Threadless.

I wish I could hug Threadless and all you Threadless-ers right now. I guess I'll just have to wait until the Chicago meetup.

THANK YOU! Let's party.
