anyone else miss the old simple bold flat colour designs? sim process shirts are fine if you're into them. i don't have any myself but i understand some look good.
i liked that tee design used to be a restrictive challenge to achieve all you could within a colour limit, but since sim process it's thrown the doors wide open and it's become pretty hard to compete with full colour impressive artworks.
i'm not complaining, just feeling obsolete.

i never took the time to get into sigur ros, but the lead singers new solo stuff is pretty nice.

my wife and i are spending May in europe and want to buy a new phone to keep in touch with the kids, use as a satnav, send home photos, etc.
does anyone have experience with using a phone as a travel tool?
i've sort of got my heart set on an iphone, but some chump at a phone shop just tried to talk us out of it without giving any good reason.

some of you would know i submited this to the metal ink tee contest.
I just recieved an email telling me they're pausing all contests because they're going broke, and i've wasted my time.
i'm not going to do their job for them by trying to save the site, but it pisses me off. their forum is always dead and their voting period is 2 months long. makes me wonder what their big mistake was, but i have a feeling the Maiden of the Month section may be the only reason they got any traffic at all and people aren't interested in heavily branded shirts.
that said, it is kind of surprising that the Emptees crowd aren't all over it. Maybe they haven't heard of it yet.
