It's awesome!
threadlessrules.com Follow us if you're on Tumblr, you won't regret it. ALSO. What kind of stuff should we post to it? I was thinking a nice random combo of different things. From insider madness to remarkable threadless blogs to weird Threadless-ness found around the web. Vague, I know. Anyway it's going to rule so there!
Hey everyone, just wanted to say a few words about the Bestee winner this year. I know it comes as a not so shocking shock to a lot of you. Emmy's "It's Toile About You" win of People's Choice was definitely deserved under the framework and rules that we set forth. However, we understand that many of you were surprised to see such strong participation from outside the Threadless community in this year's Bestee voting, even though we've always encouraged everyone to involve their friends and networks in voting - this just reached a whole new level.
That's the way the cookie crumbles. Huge congrats to Emmy and all you other Bestee winners! Next year will be different. We are already brainstorming ways to make the Bestee awards more inclusive and representative of the community. One of the main ideas is to have more than one grand prize that each celebrate an important area of design at Threadless so that it's not so weighted at the top with the popular vote. An official announcement will be made on this once we figure things out. Any suggestions are welcome, we want the Bestees to be the most amazing award ceremony in the entire world for anything; ever. p.s.: My only plea... blame Threadless if you're not happy with the winner, not Emmy - she didn't break any rules and did everything she was supposed to do to promote her design for the Bestee People's Choice award.
Does anybody have regularly recurring dreams?
This stopped a few years ago but I had a dream almost weekly for like 10 years where I was racing someone through the forest, then we went over a rope bridge and mine broke. I fell like 30 feet down into a pile of leaves. I got up, and there was an elevator in the cliff wall. My dad was the elevator operator. It took me back to the beginning of the race and then I just started racing this other person again. It just looped for however long I was asleep. I was thinking about trying to break it's meaning down and creating a t-shirt design around it.
Hello folks, I've got some questions for you.
In the past we've dabbled in bringing Threadless designs to other products. We've worked with Blik on wall graphics, Timbuk2 on messenger bags and, most recently, Griffin on iPhone cases. Now we are wondering where everyone thinks we should take this and have a few questions... 1) What other types of products would you be interested in seeing Threadless designs on? What brand in the following categories do you think would be most awesome for us to work with? (and why?) 2) Footwear? 3) Bags? 4) Snowboards and/or Skateboards? Thx in advance!
? it is for me in colorado. but i'm in chicago!
i want to go snowboarding.
They are going to be ridiculously (RIDICULOUSLY) priced very soon. You'll want to make sure you're good to checkout before someone else buys them out from under you. Just saying'

I plan to wear a diaper while trying to break the world tee shirt wearing record. Any suggestions on a nice high quality adult diaper that can hold up even after 3-4 urinations? I think I can hold any poop so I don't have to worry about that.
Folks,
This just got REAL. We're renting out a huge event space right next to the Threadless warehouse so we can host allllll kinda of amazing festivities. Festivities Foolz!!!! We've got design presentations lined up by sonmi, pilihp & alexmdc along with an event collab tee designed by them. Our screenprinter pals will each give a presentation describing their printing methods. Games will be played! Surprises will be revealed (and prizes, too)! Records will be broken! (By yours truly, I will attempt a "most tees worn" world record during the meetup)! :) ... Karaoke will be sung! And much much more! We have room for about 200 people now! We're letting all of you amazing bloggers know first and will be posting the invite around on our facebook and such starting Monday. So get in there and RSVP, you've got the first dibs! |
First of all, thanks for using Threadless! I spent many long, sleepless nights building this website! Shondi, my wife, is the best! Right now she is smiling like a little frog.
We live in Chicago and have 2 dogs, Norman and Sophie. We work together for skinnyCorp, a company Jacob and I started back in late 2000 along with this very site you're on right now, Threadless! Since then, we've built all kinds of neat community driven websites and absolutely love doing it. Hoorah! |
